Two more players will not be with the Portland Timbers in 2013, according to a team press release. Defenders Steve Purdy and Lovel Palmer have had contract options declined by the club. The two join Kosuke Kimura and Eric Brunner in departing the Timbers’ defense on the first day of an open market.
