Portland One of Eight Cities Involved in New Women’s League

According to Charles Boehm at The Soccer Wire, Portland will be awarded a club in an as yet unnamed, eight-team women’s professional league set to play in 2013. The new league will include existing clubs in Chicago, Rochester, Boston and New Jersey and introduce clubs in Portland, Seattle, Kansas City and Washington, DC.
Additional details will be shared when made available by the league and US Soccer.
I hope this works, but playing four teams from the east coast is going to be expensive.
