This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Ata and Jeremy have got SuperFinal fever. The first week of the SuperFinal is reviewed. As mentioned on the podcast itself, the championship group will be given priority over the Europa League playoff group. Extracurricular activity overshadowed both of the championship group matches. In particular, the accusation of racial epithet usage towards Fenerbahce's Emre Belozoglu is discussed as well as the sanction against him. The podcast alos goes into quick news bites, which include Turkey launching an official bid for Euro 2020 hosting rights, and the controversy surrounding the renovation of Inonu stadium.

This week on Turkish Football Weekly, Ata and Jeremy tackle a variety of subjects. A unique display of fair play in Turkey is discussed. A new tournament has been formed as a compliment to the SporToto SuperFinal called the SporToto Cup, and the guys discuss this development. An update on the Felipe Melo/Albert Riera situation at Galatasaray is reported on, and the guys debate the decision made as a result of the fight in the locker room. There is also a debate on the SporToto SuperFinal (or the Turkish Super League playoffs), in regards to a variety of subjects surrounding the concept of the playoffs introduced this season.

With Besiktas' recent Europa League elimination at the hands of Atletico Madrid, the hosts analyze Besiktas' recent troubles.
These are highlighted with the recent team imposed suspension of Ricardo Quaresma after he and head coach Carlos Carvalhal had some choice words against each other last week. The economic impact of the match fixing scandal is discussed. Discussed as well is the inability of certain clubs to pay their players on time, with Manisaspor being the latest example with their players boycotting training this week due to unpaid wages.

The continuing hearing in the match fixing trials are discussed. A new Turkish Football Federation chairman has been elected, and the surrounding aspects of the election of the new chairman is analyzed.

After real life silenced the voices of reason and logic in Turkish football, Turkish Football Weekly returns with a discussion of various news during the unexpected hiatus. Mehmet Ali Aydinlar resigned as Turkish Football Federation chairman two weeks ago, and the hosts discuss this recent development in the ongoing Turkish match fixing scandal. The trials for match fixing have started and the hosts discuss this as well as recent comments made by NTV pundit Ridvan Dilmen.
Turkish Football Weekly: Episode 95
A shorter than usual podcast is on tap this week for Turkish Football Weekly. With Gareth out of commission for this week due to laptop problems (probably caused by the Turkish Football Federation), Ata is alone for the week. Results for matchdays 21 and 22 are reported, as well as news. The fate of the amendment of article 58 of the TFF disciplinary code was decided, and Ata reports on that, including a few opinions on the matter.
